Two killed in Pokhara ultralight crash

Two persons were killed when an ultralight aircraft belonging to Avia
Club crashed near World Peace Stupa in Pumdi Bhumdi VDC of Kaski
district on Thursday morning, according to Kaski police.
One of the deceased has been identified as Stephen Shrestha – the pilot
of the ill-fated aircraft, according to state-run Nepal Television.
The aircraft was carrying a Chinese tourist whose identity has yet to be ascertained.
Ultralight flights are popular among tourists in Pokhara for sightseeing and mountain views.
