Photography training concludes

A six-day photography training organized by Trekking Agencies’
Association of Nepal (TAAN) concluded on August 12.
Participants from 13 member agencies of TAAN participated in
the training. The training was conducted by photojournalist and instructor
The training covered chapters like history, camera, lens,
exposure, composition, troubleshooting, photo editing and archiving, camera
dials, principle of photography and its importance, and using photos in social
media among others.
The training was organized to enhance capacity of staffers at
different member agencies of TAAN. TAAN also organized a series of training on ‘E-Marketing:
Using SEO for Trekking Business’ in July.
Sandesh Acharya, a participant, said training like this helps
enhance professionalism among trekking professionals. “We used to use take
pictures in the past as well. Now, we will be more cautious before using
cameras,” Acharya said. “After the training, we know the technicalities behind
