The General Secretary of TAAN, Karna Lama said that TAAN is carrying on refreshment training from the very beginning. This workshop is organized by TAAN intent to easily cope with uncertainties during trekking and expedition. “The workshop mainly focuses on mountain security and first aid.” He added.
Professional doctors from France are providing the training for the trekking guides. Since the earthquake 2015 in Nepal, they feel these kinds of trainings are very mandatory not only for the guides but also for the local people. The workshop is affiliated with general medicine, mountain rescue and dealing problems in mountaineering like acute mountain sickness.
