A total of 30 helicopters -- 10 of Nepal Army, 2 of private companies, 13 of Indian Army and five of US Army -- were used for rescue purpose and to distribute relief to affected people on the day. According to Emergency Command Center at Tribhuvan International Airport (TIA) in Kathmandu, a total of 108 rescue flights were made with 29 helicopters to different parts of the country.
